Dirty Hands Co.

The artwork is reflective of the artist’s ongoing journey with depression. During depressive episodes, she often chooses to isolate and hibernate. While she remains still and stuck, she watches the world around her continue to grow and bloom. Her own stillness is thus exaggerated by the passing of time around her. She knows the cycle will repeat itself, so she just has to wait patiently.
